WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF AN ABOVE-GROUND POOL?
The installation of an above-ground pool can truly revolutionize your backyard. Here are some of the advantages of an above-ground pool:
• Reduced risk of injury from slips and falls, as stairs or a ladder are generally required
• Reduced purchase and installation costs
• Easier to move locations
• Less invasive installation
SHOULD I BUY A POOL OR HOT TUB?
Deciding between a pool and hot tub can depend on a variety of factors, like your lifestyle, budget and personal preferences. If you have a large, open-concept backyard layout and are looking for a new approach to recreation, exercise or entertainment, a swimming pool might be the right solution for you and your family. On the other hand, if stress reduction, eased aches and pains, and relaxation is what you seek, a hot tub might be in the cards for you.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHANGE THE HOT TUB WATER?
You should change the water in your hot tub three to four times a year. During this time, you will drain the water, clean the hot tub, inspect the components, refill with clean water, and add water care products accordingly. If the water appears foamy, cloudy or murky, you may need to change the water sooner than expected.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHANGE THE HOT TUB FILTER?
You should rinse your hot tub filter once every two weeks with water from the hose. You should clean your filter by soaking it overnight in a filter cleaning solution once every two months. Finally, you should completely replace your hot tub filter once a year.
WHAT IS HYDROTHERAPY?
Hydrotherapy is the combined effect of heat, massage, and buoyancy. Here’s how it works…
1. Warm and flowing hot tub water can help to dilate blood vessels, increasing blood flow to sore or damaged tissues, thus allowing oxygen and nutrients to help overworked muscles recover faster.
2. Massage, courtesy of the hot tub jets, can help to relax and ease tense muscles and relieves pressure on surrounding nerves. Massage can also improve circulation and even accelerate the natural healing process of the body.
3. Buoyancy can help to reduce your body's weight by 90%. This relieves pressure on strained joints and sore muscles.
HOW LONG SHOULD I STAY INSIDE A HOT TUB FOR?
Healthy adults can soak in the hot tub for 20-45 minutes at a time. Based on your tolerance and comfortability, you may be able to stay inside the spa for up to an hour. It is recommended that you keep the water between 99° F and 102° F for an enjoyable experience, but never exceed 104° F for safety reasons.
WHICH HOT TUB IS BEST FOR ME?
The right hot tub for you will depend on what you want from your spa installation. Households with fewer occupants generally opt for a smaller or medium-sized hot tub. For instance, empty nesters or retired couples might benefit more from a hot tub that has two or three seats, while a larger family might get more use out of a hot tub that can seat six or more people comfortably, so that nobody feels cramped. The next area you’ll want to look at is your budget. Finding an affordable hot tub is very important, although some hot tub dealerships do offer financing agreements. Lastly, and most importantly, you will want to look at the brands and models available to you. Some manufacturers are known for leading the industry with style and innovation, while others are notorious for being behind in technology or having costly operating systems. Do your research, speak with the experts and even wet test some of your favorite models until you find the perfect one for you.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY PATIO FURNTIURE?
How you clean your patio furniture will depend on the piece and material. Plastics and metals can be wiped down with a warm, soapy cloth and rinsed with water from a hose or pressure washer. Cushions can be cleaned with a small amount of laundry detergent that is heavily diluted by warm water. Using gloves and a sponge or cloth, scrub the cushions and remove any dirt. Use water from the hose to rinse the cushions and remove any soap, then hang or lay in the sun to dry.
WILL MY FIREPLACE HURT MY TV?
If a television is hung above a fireplace incorrectly, it may succumb to damage. If a mantel is installed below the television but above the fireplace, heat may be directed away from the television. Other things to take into consideration include a flexible or rotational mount, so that you can shift the television to face downward slightly to enhance the viewing experience, while having it hung high enough that heat from the fireplace cannot affect it.
